Mid America Showdown 

Food Truck Rules + Regulations 

GENERAL 

  • A $50 deposit is due during the registration process. This deposit will be refunded when you set up on Saturday and donate four $5 gift certificates to your food truck. These will be given as door prizes. If you cannot attend, your $50 deposit will be donated to our 2026 charity. 

  • Setup time starts Saturday at 8:00 a.m. All personal vehicles must be moved to designated area by 10:00 a.m. unless prior approval is given. Please plan on unloading and moving your vehicle before setting up. Take down must be done by 6:00 p.m. but no earlier than 4pm. Must be set up and ready to sell by 11 a.m. on Saturday. Friday 7pm-10pm is optional at no cost with Saturday registration. Friday set up starts at 6pm. 

  • Unruly behavior (including but not limited to intoxication, verbal abuse, or threatening behaviors) will not be tolerated and are cause for immediate removal from the grounds. Illegal drugs or any other illegal activities are strictly prohibited. 

  • You are responsible for removing all trash, displays, equipment, vehicles and the like erected or placed on the premises at the end of an event. Anything left behind is subject to disposal. 

BOOTH SPECIFICATIONS 

  • Tents, tables, chairs, and other equipment are NOT INCLUDED in the deposit. You may provide your own tents, tables, chairs, and other equipment. Power is not supplied, but generators are welcome. 

  • All tents MUST be weighted down and all equipment in good working order. If an item could potentially cause a safety hazard, you may be asked to disassemble the item and remove it.  

  • Vendors are responsible for the cleanliness, safety, insurance, and security of their property. 

  • Loud, amplified music or other sounds, contraband, and dangerous objects are prohibited.  

  • Vehicles are not permitted on the grass or any public walkways. 

PERMITS, LICENSES + TAXES 

  • All vendors must adhere to the State of Kansas sales tax guidelines.  

  • You are responsible for obtaining all licenses and permits required for the sale of your product to the public.  

CANCELLATION + REFUND POLICY 

  • Mid America Showdown is a rain or shine event. All monies paid are non-refundable and considered a donation to this year's charity. 

LIABILITY 

  • All vendors are responsible and liable for any damage or loss incurred by the vendor. Mid America Mopars, Kansas Crossing or the Hampton Inn Hotel are not responsible for any loss or damage incurred by the vendor due to fire, theft, wind, or rain.
